Sand animation is an art form. By using sand and a sheet of glass with a light under it, sand artists mix and blend sand while using their hands and fingers to create images to tell a story. Everything blends in seamlessly, like going from one panel to the next in a film. While not very popular, it takes a lot of talent and imagination to pull off this art form.
